30 people arrested on Samui for selling drugs

The Thai police with some help from the drug police in the American embassy have arrested over 30 people in connection with party drugs.

30 people with different nationalities were arrested for dealing with large amounts of cocaine and ecstasy for many years.

They police nabbed 38-year-old Iranian Ramin “Richy” Ahmani, also known as Shahriar Zarghamzade, the suspected leader. He had several properties and business on the Samui Island in south Thailand.

The drugs were sold on the Thai Full Moon party but the police say they will make the Island a drug free Island from now.
