Thai police try to make Koh Phangan as drug-free island
The government tries to change the image of Koh Phangan to be the family destination.
The thing is no one knows since when the drug starts to get into the island and been used as the normal things in the island among the people who attend the party. Now the police start to react and try to make it happen for real by having the checkpoint both at Phangan and Samui Islands and also they check the partygoers randomly to see if they possess any drug or not.
Beside the checkpoint and random check ups, there are also the undercover police which will just be in among the crowds. Also the police ask for the help from locals if they help to observe any people possess drug or anyone who bring the drug into the island.
It´s the problem that the police realize that it has happened for long time but also the police also realize as well that there is a lot of income coming to the island from this monthly party, so it´s the problem which has to be solved slowly and need the plan to solve all things up smartly as well.
Now the tourists have been warned not to take drug while attend the party because there must be a possibility that they will get caught by police randomly and end up in jail.
